On the final day of September 2007, I left Jasper Alberta Canada without any agenda, plans or time. Living simply from my passion of photography and writing, living a freedom life while riding my Suzuki DR 350 motorcycle in search of rock climbing, surfing and experiencing different cultures along the way.
Now nearly 100 000 km, 19 countries and 4 years later... I continue to ride the dream... north from South America.

Mission to Anvil Peak

Mission... 1 hour boat ride in... hope to get picked up tomorrow.
Thanks to Doug from Squamish boat rentals gave us a sweet ride in ... and a mission ride out.

Objective... Anvil Peak view from the Howe Sound in Squamish.

Native paintings along the way.

Powered by a 60 hp engine...

Here we go.. Bianca on a steep part of the 4 hour trail.

Almost there! not quite, an hour more of steep hiking.

Ok view of the blue Howe Sound 1000 feet below.

Yeeeaaa... Made it... 3 1/2 hours later, worth the effort.

Last push...

Lunch time.

T Lawson in action

Home sweet home for the night

Looking south at Sea to Sky at night.

Change of weather

Soaked on the outside - dry in the inside, thanks to Patagonia rain shelter Jacket.

Todd little bit soaked.

cold and muddy hands.

Not an easy place to get to or hike, but a great reward at the end... with a sweet heli pad to sleep on - camping
with style...
Until a storm rolls in at 3 am, soaking wet, slippery slabs and muddy trail.
It just made us look forward to a warm shower... and a cold beer!
